The Dark Unknown Future of A.I.

90% of people have no comprehension of the effects AI will be having on society in the next decade. Another 9% have an idea but are not concerned. The remaining 1% have a very reasonable idea of what is coming. I’m here to explain why that reasonable idea of the 1% is the most accurate, and the most frightening.

People hear about the effects on jobs, and job performance. This is the least of concern the 1% have. Yes of course AI will be disrupting the workforce. In fact It will be eliminating the work force by 50% over the next decade. This causes an unemployment rate of around 54%, which in turn causes 13.5 times as many applying for your job. Many of these applicant will be more qualified than you for your position. Therefore I do not include the unemployment rate effecting these careers. It simply states the effect of AI on each career over the next decade without unemployment being a concern. It is perfect to point your future Career in the right direction, but it is not a detailed events description of what’s to come.
